In stock merchandise ships out the next business day. Please note that business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders received on Friday, Saturday & Sunday will ship out on Monday. Our shipping department is closed on weekends & holidays.
If an item is on backorder, you will be notified by email if the item will not ship within 10 business days.
Some items are shipped directly from the vendor and will require longer shipping times.
Deliveries to P.O. Box are shipped via USPS or Fed Ex Smart Post (a combination is USPS & Fed Ex). Deliveries to street addresses will be shipped using the best method based on package size, weight and location. Larger items may ship in multiple boxes.
Expect delayed delivery times during the peak holiday season.

Shipping & Processing charges are determined by the sub-total of merchandise (before any coupons or discounts). Our shipping & processing fees cover the processing, handling, packing and delivery of your order. Additional fees may apply for some items because of size or shape. The additional shipping amount appears in the items description.

Shipping Outside the Continental US:
Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada are shipped the best way based on weight, package size and location. Additional funds may apply to orders shipped containing large or heavy items. Our customer service department will contact to discuss additional shipping charges before completing the order.
Customs & Duties:
Customs / Duty Fees & taxes on orders shipping overseas are NOT included in the item price or shipping charges paid to The Village Merchant. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be before ordering. These fees are usually collected when FedEx or the postal service delivers the package and are the sole responsibility of the customer.
SHIPPING NOTIFICATION & TRACKING
Once your order has been processed for shipment you will receive shipment notification from us via the email you provided at checkout. This email will contain a tracking number to track your order through the delivery company used. If you do not receive this notice please check your spam folders.
**Please note that you will not receive a shipment notification or tracking number for orders shipped directly from our suppliers. Please call our customer service department for information on these deliveries.
Although we carefully pack each and every order, occasionally something may arrive damaged. If that happens, please retain all original packing materials and notify our customer service department immediately. Please report damages within 7 days of arrival.
