We think you will love your items from The Village Merchant, but just in case you are not completely satisfied, we will gladly refund the purchase price of your unused item(s) within 30 days from the day your item arrives at your door.
Products must be returned in their original condition and in their original product packaging with all tags and labels included. All items must be unwashed, clean and free from pet hair and cigarette smoke. All items must be carefully packaged for reshipping. Refunds will not be given for items that are not able to be resold because of damage or missing items or packaging.
Please mark the items on the packing slip, that was included with your order, that you are returning with a brief description for the return. Be sure to make a copy of the packing slip for your records. Place the packing slip in the package with the returned item(s). You may use the shipping carrier that you prefer, but we do suggest that you insure the package for your protection and make note of the tracking number.

Your order will be processed upon receipt in our warehouse and a refund will be issued back to the method of payment used (i.e. credit card, PayPal, etc.).
Original shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping is to be paid by the customer.
Special Order items and those shipped directly from a vendor may require a restocking fee of 15% that will be subtracted from your refund amount. In some cases a special order or vendor shipped item may not be returnable. If this is the case, there will be information in the items’s description noting this information.
Sale and clearance items are not returnable.
Although we carefully pack each and every order, occasionally something may arrive damaged. If that happens, please retain all original packing materials and notify our customer service department immediately. Please report damages within 7 days of arrival.
